About Youssef Benhaddouch

Youssef Benhaddouch joined Verrazzano in 2016 and is a member of the executive committee. Prior to this, he ran the MLK European Fund. The fund launched in October 2015 and is a concentrated long only fund investing in European equities. Benhaddouch spent 14 years at French broker Exane BNP Paribas. He joined Exane in 1998 in UK clients European equities sales, was promoted in 2000 to head of hedge fund sales, in 2005 he became the head of UK clients sales, and in 2008 to head of UK and US client sales. He became a partner of Exane in 2001 and was a member of the executive committee of the equities division. From 1993 to 1998, Benhaddouch worked at a Big Six audit firm and entered the brokerage business in 1996 as an analyst covering French midcap stocks. He graduated from ESSEC Business School in Paris in 1993.
