Akhilesh Baveja is the lead portfolio adviser for Charlemagne Capital’s MENA strategies with responsibility for researching companies operating across the Gulf and wider Middle East. He joined the group in 2011 after two years at GLG Partners, where he specialised in Saudi Arabian equities. He was previously employed as a senior analyst at Al-Rajhi Financial Services in Riyadh, having earlier spent four years at Unit Trust of India. He holds a Master of Management Science in Finance.

Objective

The Investment Objective of the Fund is to achieve capital growth by investing in the securities of the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The MENA region presents significant opportunities to investors, as capital markets widen and deepen over time in an economically diverse area New vehicle, UCITS III structure with daily trading.
